Everyone lost their minds last week when the Sol de Janeiro Perfume Mist Discovery Set dropped on Cult Beauty. This $40 Gift Set features almost all of the Sol de Janeiro permanent fragrances cute little 1 oz perfume mist bottles. I think if you’re a fan of the brand you likely have every single one of these fragrances in their full-sizes! Hell, I know I’m guilty of not only having them but also, having a backup or two (tell me you don’t at the very least have two bottles of ’71 hanging around which also, makes me a little ranty it isn’t included in this set!). But if you don’t have them this is a fine set to get you started. You get a total of 5 oz of fragrance for $40 and of course, I have to dissect and break that down a little bit for ya. A 3.4 oz bottle of your fav scent from Sol de Janeiro will set you back $24 and a 8.1 oz will set you back $38. Yeah, the value isn’t valuing here. If you’re in this purchase to save money I’d say you aren’t saving all that much but if you’re here for variety, well, that I can say you’ll get!

What fragrances come in the Sol de Janeiro Perfume Mist Discovery Set? You’re getting the legendary Cheirosa ’62 which is the OG scent from Sol de Janeiro. It’s one of my personal favs and smells like a tropical cake melting in your hand! You’ll also get Cheirosa ’68 which is sort of a little cousin to BR540. Cheirosa ’40 which is a flirty, fun floral with notes of black amber plum, vanilla woods, and jasmine blooms. Cheirosa ’59 the latest scent from the brand that apparently repels spiders (just kiddin’ or am I?). And Cheirosa ’87 aka Rio Radiance which is a pretty beachy scent with leite de coco and solar tuberosenotes!

Glass Skin is apparently back in trend and having a viral moment across Tiktok! What is glass skin? The term glass skin originated in Korea and became popular in the Western world a few years ago. The term refers to smooth, even-toned, and clear skin! Skin so flawless it gives the appearance of glass. How does one get glass skin? It all starts with good cleansing habits. Make sure you’re cleaning your face well at night! You want to be sure you get all your makeup off your face as well as any oil or dirt. Double cleansing is always a good idea if possible! Plenty of moisture is also important in the form of nourishing and hydrating serums and moisturizers as well as treating your skin to a good sheet mask a few times a week. But even more important is exfoliating! Long gone are the days we’re scrubbing the skin off our very bones with a tube of St Ives Apricot Scrub. Nowadays chemical peels and exfoliating treatments aren’t something we need to get done by a professional! Sometimes in life instead of going forward we end up going backward and so is the case with Ulta shipping. I’m already pretty annoyed at Ulta’s wasteful way of shipping things in multiple shipments. Who remembers when Ulta would take a $100+ order and proceed to ship a medium size box with one sample inside of it? I swear nothing induced more rage in me then that. Thankfully, that stopped! Ulta hasn’t done it in a while! Maybe they heard me ranting about it! But they’ve started doing something even more annoying lately and it’s driving me bonkers. My order arrives in multiple shipments and I get one order really fast and one order really slow (P.S. here’s how to keep track of your packages because a lot of companies are doing the same lately and you can easily forget to check if something arrives if it comes in two or three shipments!).
